Blue Ocean Technology AS has hired Kristoffer Slettehaug, an automation engineer who took up the position last week. The company confirmed its plan to increase the number of projects on land and the expansion of its staff.
Slettehaug, who comes from Siemens Energy, has full experience with automation and control systems for safety on offshore installations. His role was to make hardware work as efficiently as possible. Also, he worked with automation in sequential systems, general PLC, and HMI programming.
In more detail, ex Siemens engineer will focus on systems for collecting and reporting data, analysis, and reporting (ESG). Blue Ocean aims to have systems as autonomous as possible with monitoring, control, and the simplest possible preventive maintenance system.
Regarding this, Slettehaug expressed his motivation: “I look forward to working in Blue Ocean Technology with great excitement and curiosity. I believe my experience with both hardware and software fits well with Blue Ocean’s needs for further development. Here I can help ensure that the plants run as much as possible by themselves, save time and travel costs for the service team and analyze data more precisely, among other things to achieve a better sludge treatment result and even better ESG reporting for customers.”
Finally, the CEO of Blue Ocean Technology, indicated: “Blue Ocean Technology has now gone from a phase with a simultaneous focus on development/product adaptations and deliveries to a more pure scaling phase with a strong focus on efficient production.
