For North America
Thai Union North America has appointed Blake Stok as its new director of sustainability for North America. He will work with the company’s subsidiaries, Chicken of the Sea Frozen Foods and Chicken of the Sea International.
Besides, he will be a member of the Thai Union’s Global Sustainability Team in Europe and Bangkok. For the execution of the Thai Union’s acclaimed sustainability strategy, SeaChange®.
According to the company, Stok will report to Daniel Goldstone, SVP HR, and Corporate Affairs (TUNA), and Adam Brennan, Global Group Director, Sustainability, Thai Union.
“I’m honored to join an incredible organization helping steer the entire seafood industry in a more responsible and sustainable direction. It’s a privilege to join this talented team and help build on the strong foundation laid before me,” Stok wrote in his LinkedIn profile.
Previously, he worked as Senior Program and Partnership Manager Seafood in Fair Trade USA. He was responsible for expanding the impact of Fair Trade USA’s proven model to fish farmers and the aquaculture sector. By supporting the growth of FTUSA’s Seafood program via certification of aquaculture supply chains.
