Higher cost of living drives British to buy less fish

According to NielsenIQ data

NielsenIQ data released on Wednesday show that British volume sales of meat, fish, and poultry had fallen 13% in the four weeks to April 23 year-on-year due to the cost of living crisis.

This fall in demand cames after the significant rise prices in UK suffered. British people find themselves with more problems filling their shopping cart and these products suffer the consequences.

In addition, inflation in the UK is currently rising at 7%, the fastest rate for around 30 years. Thereby, this does not give much hope that the situation will change. Finally, this fact reminds us of what we fear weeks ago.
